Read what a few of our clients have to say

“Telexy Healthcare revolutionized the entire over-read and quality assurance process using a product called Q-path Cloud,” said Charlotte Derr, MD, RDMS, Emergency Ultrasound and Ultrasound Fellowship Director at Tampa General Hospital. “Here at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, Q-path Cloud improves the process of teaching focused ultrasound to Emergency Medicine Residents and Fellows by providing a convenient tool to document and provide timely assessment and feedback to each Resident. Our previous process required manual transfer of images to a PC and paper documentation. Q-path Cloud streamlines the process, reducing time and costs to manage the program and improving overall quality of the program.”

“Our Emergency Targeted Sonography program is comprehensive and heavily based on a quality assurance overread system to ensure ongoing patient safety as this new technology finds the most appropriate place in our practice”, said Dr. Andrew Healey, Director, Emergency Targeted Sonography. “In addition, at our site we support a subspecialty rotation for this purpose. Q-path has made this possible. Without the robust QA side of the Q-path package, it would be absolutely impossible to offer bedside ultrasound in a way that ensures quality, accuracy, and safety while allowing for new development. The educational benefits of having a searchable database of every point-of-care ultrasound performed are enormous. The willingness of Telexy Healthcare to be flexible and develop solutions to our unique challenges is so well respected by the hospital that they are considering expanding the use of Q-path to all point-of-care ultrasound performed. Thank you for allowing us to offer such a quality program!”

Q-path plays a key role in medical student’s ultrasound education

Q-path is being used by the University of South Carolina School of Medicine to help manage ultrasound exams and documentation for around 400 medical students. “Q-path has proven extremely useful in our efforts to incorporate ultrasound as an enhancement into students’ learning experience. We use it to document completion of ultrasound lab assignments and provide feedback on quality and accuracy of student images”, said Duncan Howe, PhD.

“Qpath has revolutionized the way we do point-of-care ultrasound”, said Dr. Chris Moore, Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship and Division Director at Yale. “All of our ultrasound image clips go wirelessly to a central server, allowing us to view them from anywhere. The flexibility of customizable worksheets for reporting and review has improved compliance with documentation and our ability to generate a reimbursable document. Being able to email from within the program to the ultrasound operator has saved a step during our QA process, and having the ability to track and generate reports regarding the number and types of ultrasounds performed has saved our clerical personnel dozens of hours a month. Telexy Healthcare is very responsive to any issues, and we would recommend their product to anyone who is doing a lot of point-of-care ultrasound, or would like to do more.”

“As an early adopter of technological devices, I learned that you win some and you lose some”, said Gerardo Chiricolo, MD, FACEP, RDMS, Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Director at New York Methodist Hospital, “I failed with my first attempt at a data management system. Then along came Q-path. The Q-path data management system is definitely a winner. I have used Q-path for over a year now and it has drastically changed my practice. Gone are the days of paper worksheets, reports, and stacks of DVDs and VHS tapes. I now have custom digital worksheets, custom digital reports, and digital clips. The data is neatly organized and accessible remotely from anywhere. Telexy Healthcare has been supportive from day one and over a year later are still there whenever I need them. In all honesty, I cannot imagine running an ultrasound division without Q-path”.

Q-path Cloud revolutionizes ultrasound training and consultation for rural physicians in South Carolina

USC School of Medicine is training primary care physicians in non-metropolitan areas of South Carolina to use ultrasound at the “bedside” in their practices. Training and access to on-going consultation during the learning process is the missing link for practicing physicians to effectively incorporate ultrasound into their busy practices. “Since on-site training is logistically difficult and allows only one or two training sessions per month, physician access to Q-path on a cloud server enhances the convenience and effectiveness of training and consultation”, said Duncan Howe, PhD.
